7:30 PM - 9:00 PMBeby
We all cherish the traditional origins of our Jewish Heritage. But what does archaeology have to say about the historical origins of Jewish ritual practices? Leading Israeli archaeologist Dr. Yonatan Adler of Ariel University will present the latest results of his research on Jewish ritual objects, which point to the very beginnings of practices which form the basis of Judaism as we know it today.
Saturday, February 2. 7:30-9pm. Free of charge.
About Dr. Adler:
Through "The Origins of Judaism Archaeological Project," Dr. Adler's work is focused on researching ancient tefillin that were discovered in the caves which once held the Dead Sea Scrolls. Dr. Adler will be sharing his experiences at Beth Emeth for the World Wide Wrap.
