"Palestine Posts:  An Eyewitness Account of the Birth of Israel with Daniel Chertoff"

Daniel Chertoff’s new book, Palestine Posts: An Eyewitness Account of the Birth of Israel, is based upon the letters his father wrote to his family while an editor at the Palestine Post and member of the Haganah, Israel’s army during the period leading up to and including Israel’s War of Independence. Daniel will share excerpts from letters, including previously unreported first-hand accounts of several major historical events in British Mandate Palestine.

About Daniel Chertoff:
Daniel Chertoff has served as a financial communications counsel to many publicly-traded Israeli high tech companies, was a partner in an Israeli venture capital firm and a senior executive at a large Israeli telecommunications company. He was writing his doctoral dissertation in English literature at the Hebrew University when he discovered his father’s cache of letters.

This event will also be the official Canadian book launch.
