TORAH TALK FOR THE TABLE with Rabbi David
Parshat Yitro
This week we receive the TORAH from HaShem on Mount Sinai. Torah means "teachings" but it also comes from the Hebrew word "Ohr" - light. The Rabbis teach us that we all receive the Torah together, but we each understand it differently.
Discussion Questions
What is a connection between "teaching" and "light"?
How can the Torah be a single teaching that we all understand differently?
