Out of the Cold
January 12th - March 2nd 2009

8 Monday evenings to Tuesday mornings

The Beth Emeth Bais Yehuda Synagogue will be opening its doors during the cold winter months once again for the vulnerable people in our community. We serve dinners for up to 90 guests and have up to 30 guests sleep over each Monday evening. The Out of the Cold Program depends on the support of all of us.

Volunteers are needed to work a couple of hours to serve meals, hand out clothing, monitor a safe and clean environment, and help with other jobs. To volunteer please call the Synagogue office at 416-633-3838 extension #246.

Urgently needed are jeans, back-packs and sleeping bags. Also, warm winter clothing such as: coats, boots, warm sweaters and pants. Please drop off bags at Synagogue office.

Financial donations are integral for the continuation of this program. Get involved and help make this year a success.
