The Leadership Development Program is designed as a multi-dimensional program that includes seminars, institute type learning and interactive participation. The LDP hopes to provide opportunities for both personal and professional growth and the development of leadership skills which can be applied to any life scenario. The program is open to anyone who feels they can benefit from intensive leadership training. Led by professionals who are tops in their fields, topics include: The How-to of Leadership, Theory of Leadership, Conflict Resolution, Foundation of Negotiation, Mentoring, Holding Court, Public Presentations and Humour - The Essence of Self-preservation.

The BEBY Leadership Development Institute, is a Certified Academic Program and award winner of the Solomon Schecter Golden Award for programming.

Registration is limited to 25 and participation is open to all members of the synagogue. There is no fee charged to shul members for this course. $80.00 for non-members. Registration forms are available from the Synagogue or click the link below to download.

The course will commence Thursday October 1st, 2009 and continue for 8 months. Classes take place the first Thursday evening of the month from 7-9 pm in the Beth Emeth Board Room.

• May 13th - Humour - The Essence of Self-preservation (changed from May 6th)
• June 3rd - Course Evaluation
• Graduation - TBA
