A Day of Walking for the Water!

Sunday, September 24, 2017. Toronto Waterfront. 2:00 pm. 

Join our Beth Emeth Walk Team reawakening our commitment to celebrate, safeguard and reflect upon what we can collectively do to ensure the well-being of Great Lakes water through this shared experience of walking for water and promoting relationships between Indigenous peoples and Beth Emeth.  Meet The BEBY Group at noon at Sheppard West (former Downsview) subway station. From there we will proceed to the Toronto Music Garden, 479 Queen’s Quay West and then to Marilyn Bell Park where Indigenous Elders will lead a water blessing ceremony.

Continuing Education and the Greening Committee is pleased to invite you to this special event.

Awareness of the interdependence and interrelationships of all the living elements on earth is the major subject of the Biblical concept of this delicate balance in nature, with man seen as a major element in this balance. We will learn from this presentation about the deep inter-relationship between the One God, the history of the Jewish People and their historical environment - the Land of Israel.
